async peyk.platforms.telegram.methods.decline_chat_join_request(self, chat_id: int | str, user_id: int) → bool[source]¶

Use this method to decline a chat join request. The bot must be an administrator in the chat for this to work and must have the can_invite_users administrator right. Returns True on success.

Parameters:

chat_id – Unique identifier for the target chat or username of the target channel in the format @username
user_id – Unique identifier of the target user

Returns:

Result returned by Telegram on successful execution.

Return type:

bool
